Zurich, Paris, Madrid, and London have all seen the great Laura Pausini World tour, and on the 4th, 5th and 6th of June, she will grace Verona’s Arena.
The Italian born singer kicked off her ‘Inedito Wold Tour’ on the 22nd December in Milan, a tour that, when it closes, will have been performed in over 100 venues around the world. The Made In Italy tour features top international professionals, and is said to be ‘the most sophisticated, poetic, and all-encompassing tour ever put on the road by an Italian artist.’

Musical history:
Laura Pausini was born on the 16 May 1974 in Solarolo (Ravenna), 19 years later, she was singing in the Sanremo Festival, where she won first prize for best newcomer. 
After this great success she released her first album ‘Laura Pausini’ which stayed in the Italian Top Ten for one year. She also became famous in the English and the Spanish speaking world as well as being a great hit in her home country.
She has sung works by Sir Tim Rice, songwriter of ‘Evita’ and ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, and sung with big names such as Michael Bublé, Phil Collins, Pavarotti, and Andrea Bocelli. She has performed for Pope John Paul II, and at the wedding of Barbara Streisand. She has worked on films such as ‘Message In A Bottle’, starring Kevin Costner and Paul Newman and won The World Music Award (European Grammy – Monte Carlo) for Best Selling Italian Artist with ‘Io canto’.
She also promotes charities such as Amnesty International and ‘Amiche per l’Abruzzo’, a unique event organized by Laura in Milan, where an all Italian female group of over 50 singers participated to raise funds for the Abruzzo earthquake appeal.

The tour is a collaboration of the best professionals – The set designer is British architect Mark Fisher, who has worked for bands such as Pink Floyd and U2, and creator unique sets for the Cirque du Soleil. The lighting designer Patrick Woodroffe has produced shows for leading pop and rock artists, including Bob Dylan, AC/DC, Depeche Mode, the Rolling Stones, and was working on Michael Jackson’s final but never completed show ‘This Is It’. The shows costume designer is Catherine Buyse, costume supervisor for movies like Star Wars, and The Italian Job, and one of the most highly regarded fashion designers in the world, Roberto Cavalli, created some of the special dresses which Laura wears on stage.

Laura takes to the stage with her backing band, led by Paolo Carta on guitar, brothers Emiliano and Matteo Bassi on drums and bass, Bruno Zucchetti on piano, Nicola Oliva on guitar and Robertà Granà with Gianluigi Fazio and Monica Hill on backing vocals.

The set comprises of over 30 songs of Laura’s songs including ‘Surrender’, ‘La solitudine’, ‘Benvenuto’, and ‘Non ho mai smesso’ just to mention a few.

The series of concerts will take place on June 4/5/6 and ticket prices range from €69.00 to €40.24 for un-numbered seating on the steps.
