Get married in Verona - A few tips

English
Wedding in Verona
In one of our past articles we've talked about how to get married in Juliet's house. In that post you can find all the information you need, prices and how it works, but if you dream to celebrate your wedding in Verona, the city of love, I could suggest you some places where for example you can make the photo shooting or where to eat and stay.
Lake Garda offers a lot of panoramas and fascinating places, but I can say that there are also other incredible spots near Verona. One of these is for sure the Sigurtà Garden. Here, thousands plants, trees and animals are the frame that surround you. This garden is part of an old Villa and there are incredible panoramas and colors (one of the best is the view on Valeggio Castle).

Near Sigurtà Garden there is a masterpiece of Verona, called Borghetto, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, now in the world heritage list. In Borghetto there are some fantastic restaurants and many locals use to have the wedding lunch right here. I believe that your hosts will be wordless if you opt for this solution. All around you is tiny and preserved, it looks like a place of the tales. For example L'Antica Locanda (translated is the old parlor), is an elegant location with very good dishes. One of the typical dish I suggest is Tortellini di Valeggio, a speciality of this area.

What about accommodation? As I wrote in the article about Juliet's house wedding one of the most elegant and unusual accommodation in the center of Verona is B&B Delle Erbe. This is something unusual and alternative to the hotel, but it is in one of the most beautiful buildings of the center with a great view on Delle Erbe square, the former Roman forum thousands years ago. If you like the countryside, the best for you is Valpolicella area, the famous area of wine near Verona. Here you could sleep in an old villa, like a Lord. I am talking about Villa Graziani, a charming accommodation near vineyards and also near the city (Leonardo di Caprio and other Hollywood's people have decided to take their home in this zone). If you've already have an experience in Verona for your wedding please post here below your comments and opinions.
